Ann Trainor Domingue was born in Fall River, Massachusetts and lived many years in Barrington, Rhode Island before settling in New Hampshire. She is a graduate of Rhode Island College with a BA Studio degree in Painting and has pursued a career as an artist working as an art director/designer, illustrator, teacher and painter. She is a Copley Artist and Fellow at the Copley Society of Art in Boston, and a Signature Member of the New England Watercolor Society.

Artist Statement: ‘My work is inspired by the hardworking lifestyle of local people and varied landscapes found throughout New England. I combine and weave many aspects together in a semi-abstract design approach, creating layered painterly surfaces with expressive color.’ Ann describes her work as 'messy, uncommon, friendly, contemporary art.'
