Robert Collier of Rindge, New Hampshire, was a regional artist well known for his traditional pastel impressionist landscapes and views of Mount Monadnock and the surrounding area of southern New Hampshire. Collier started painting in oil under the guidance of Richard Whitney, a nationally recognized painter of portraits and landscapes.
Collier developed an interest in pastel medium, feeling that the vibrant colors allow greater flexibility and expressiveness. He enjoyed pastel, producing paintings that are bold and rich in color, yet soft and fresh. His works are highly acclaimed, having been requested by the NH State Capitol, NH Embassy in Belize, Trust for NH Lands, and others who appreciate his artistic translation of the essence of New Hampshire environs.

Robert Collier passed away in 2018.
